Traveling with reduced mobility

Accessibility and assistance for passengers with disabilities or special needs at the Airport.

If you require special assistance (PRM - Passenger with Reduced Mobility):

  • You must request it directly with your airline at the time of making your reservation.
  • It is recommended to do so at least 48 hours in advance.
  • There is no additional cost when requested in accordance with airline policies.

General Recommendations *

Assistance process - Departures

  • The passenger must appear at the airline counter or at the designated point.
  • Staff will provide support for the check-in and documentation process.
  • The passenger will be accompanied through the security filter and, where appropriate, immigration.
  • You will be assisted in boarding, using specialized equipment if necessary (wheelchair, ambulift, etc.)

Assistance process - Arrivals

  1. The staff will assist the passenger from their seat until exiting the aircraft.
  2. Support will be provided in the transfer to migration (if applicable).
  3. You will be escorted to the baggage claim area.
  4. Finally, you will be assisted in leaving for the arrivals hall or parking lot.

Connecting passengers

If you connect at the airport:

  • The staff will be able to assist you in moving between doors.
  • Support will be provided if access to toilets or waiting areas is required.

Medical conditions

If the passenger requires supplemental oxygen or special medical assistance during the flight:

  • You must inform the airline in advance.
  • Check with your airline if they provide oxygen in the cabin and the policies.
  • Check with your airline if it is permitted to use a ventilator, respirator, positive pressure device, or the permitted equipment list of oxygen concentrators for transportation and use on board the aircraft.

Guide dogs

Passengers who require it can travel accompanied by a guide dog, in accordance with the airline's guidelines and current regulations.

It is recommended to notify the airline in advance.

The airport has designated spaces for people with disabilities, located in preferential areas.

It is recommended to present the corresponding credential to access benefits or special rates, if applicable.
