Prepare for your trip
Valid official identification or passport.
For international flights, check immigration requirements, visas, or special permits.

Check in
Complete it on your airline’s website or app 24 to 48 hours before your flight. If you already have your boarding pass and are not checking any luggage, you may proceed directly to the security checkpoint when you arrive at the airport.
At the airport
If you need to check baggage, require assistance, or did not complete online check-in, go to your airline's check-in counters in the appropriate terminal.
Arrival recommendations:
- Domestic flights: at least 2 hours prior to departure
- International flights: at least 3 hours prior to departure
Check the airport monitors to confirm your airline's terminal and location.
Check with your airline for allowed weight and number of pieces.
Label your baggage with your name and phone number.
Avoid prohibited or restricted items.
Domestic flights: arrive 2 hours prior to departure.
International flights: arrive 3 hours prior to departure.
Allow for traffic and travel time to the airport.
Identify the terminal from which your flight departs.
At the airport
Mexican passenger
If you are Mexican, you must complete the Statistical Form for Mexicans https://www.inm.gob.mx/fem/
Foreign Passenger
If you are a foreign passenger, you must first go to the immigration service counter.

At the airport
If you have checked baggage:
- Proceed to your airline's counter.
- Your baggage will be weighed and tagged.
- Keep the receipt until you arrive at your destination.
These steps will help you avoid long lines and enjoy a faster, more efficient travel experience.
- Locate your airline's self check-in kiosk at the airport.
- Use the touchscreen and scan your boarding pass.
- Print your baggage tag and attach it correctly.
- Drop off your bag at the designated belt.

- Prepare your boarding pass (electronic or printed)
- Scan your boarding pass at the E-Gate.
- If the information is correct, the gate will open to allow you to enter the screening area.
All passengers and their carry-on baggage are subject to screening.
During the process:
- Place your belongings in the trays.
- Remove metal items and electronic devices.
- Baggage will be screened by X-ray.
- Additional inspection may be conducted if necessary.
Procedures are carried out in accordance with DGAC regulations and international standards.
Present your passport and required documentation.
Follow staff instructions.
Keep your documents until boarding.

Check the flight information displays.
Check for any gate or schedule changes.
